FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What is your turnaround time?

    • It can depend on the type of shoot and the season. It can range from 2 weeks to 1-2 months. I will be upfront with you about this.

  • How do you deliver photos?

    • Photos will be delivered to you via email from Pic-Time, a professional client gallery. There you can play around with favoriting or hiding images you like or dislike. There is also an online shop connected to your gallery where you can get certain images printed via a professional print lab.

  • How can I get the images printed?

    • When you receive your gallery, there will be a shopping cart in one of the corners where you can order prints from a professional printing lab. Otherwise as per our contract agreement, all the images in the gallery are free high-res photos. If you find the professional print labs to be too pricey, feel free to find another place that works for you. I highly recommend Mpix and NOT a place like Walgreens or Walmart.

  • Can I edit the images?

    • No. These images reflect my style and my brand. If you alter the images it will no longer be my photos. I hope that you hired me knowing my style of photography and that you like it. This goes for all photographers you're considering. Chose one that creates images in the style you like.

  • Do I get copyright of the photos?

    • Once purchased, the images are yours to do what you want with them. Only thing is that it cannot be used for commercial and business-related purposes unless discussed with me first.

  • Do I get to pick out the images?

    • No, you will not be able to pick out the images. I comb through the hundreds or thousands of images I take and choose the ones I feel best represent you or the moment.

  • What happens if I need to reschedule?

    • That's okay! You will not receive your nonrefundable retainer, but you keep the rest of the money that would've been used to pay for my services and the actual imaging. We can always reschedule to another day and that deposit will transfer over to that date so you won't have to pay it twice. However after the third time of cancellation without 24 hours notice, I will no longer work with you. Of course there are exceptions, such as injury, sickness, and family emergencies. There is a no show fee of $50 and if you cancel less than 24 hours before the shoot time there is a fee of $50 that can be waived due to unforeseen circumstances. It will go into more detail on your contract.

  • What happens if the photographer gets sick or injured before the shoot and can no longer do it?

    • We can reschedule with no penalty to you. If you decide to no longer work with me due to something on my part, you will receive your deposit back. This is upon a case by case basis.

  • How do I get more than what is in my package?

    • You can pay to have access to more digitals after viewing the gallery.

  • How much is the deposit to book a session and lock in the date?

    • There is a 25% nonrefundable retainer made to lock in your date. It helps protect me from losing a whole day of work if you happen to not make it. It saves me from losing too much money for holding your date.

  • Do you charge by hour or amount of photos?

    • I charge by the amount of photos!

  • How do I pay?

    • You can pay via credit card or debit card. I send a digital invoice via Honeybook of which you can pay on there.

Miscellaneous

  • Do you travel?

    • Yes I do! However depending on how far it is, there will be an additional cost to pay for the mileage, gas, etc.

  • How do outfit changes work?

    • It depends on what package you buy! However the greater the package you purchase, the greater the outfit changes. I have a changing tent that I can bring with me on shoots if changes have to be outside.

About Me

  • How long have you been a photographer?

    • I've been taking pictures since I was a kid, but more seriously since sophomore year of college. I got really into photography and bought a Canon Rebel T7i with the kit lens that came with it. If I do the math right, I've been interested in photography seriously since 2018.

  • What gear do you have?

    • I have a mirrorless Canon camera with a few zoom lens and prime lens. In addition I have a studio set up i.e. studio lights, backdrops, etc. I also have a reflector, tripods, external flash, a cordless RGB Yongnuo lightstick, gobo attachments for studio lights and more.

  • What do you shoot in?

    • All images are shot in RAW. RAW is very a photo with lots of data stored in the image, which makes it more lenient in editing. In other words, small changes are achievable and it can fix a lot of things i.e. overblown highlights. I convert the RAWS to JPEG (a compressed version that will still be high-res) before sharing. I do this because RAW images can only be seen on special software and they are HUGE files that will take up tons of space on your computer.

  • What made you want to become a photographer?

    • To me, photography has always been a way to creatively explore myself and push myself to think outside of the box. I love showing the client's beauty through my lens and make them feel truly beautiful. That is my goal in photography and whenever I get the messages back from the client's with positive reviews, it only makes me fall in love with photography that much more.
